《DIETER》
DIETER
The work depicts the life of Dieter, a dementia patient, through an interplay of reality and illusion: while in reality he can no longer work normally, over 100 colorful paintings created after his diagnosis build a fantastical world unknown to us. Reality and illusion flow into one another like fragmented memories, allowing the audience to experience Dieter’s inner world, where those colors and lines become a bridge connecting loved ones with the patient. Tender and imaginative, the work explores dementia, memory, and family bonds, where pain and poetry coexist.
