《A Little Death》
A Little Death
The Grim Reaper' s apprentice is gentle and kind, yet constantly fails at his core duty of reaping souls. Having run out of patience, the Reaper turns to an unexpected person for help—the apprentice' s "client", a psychotherapist. The film places a Grim Reaper, the apprentice, and the therapist in an absurd scenario, turning “soul-reaping” into everyday workplace trouble, lifting the weight off heavy life-and-death topics. The apprentice may seem "unfit" for his role, yet he retains the most precious warmth in the realm of Death. With dark humor, the work explores the conflict between duty and nature, affirms innate kindness, and satirizes rigid efficiency-driven thinking.
