To the Further Place
Inspired by the artist’s volunteer experience in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China and Tibetan-inhabited areas in Sichuan Province, as well as Nepal, this series explores the relationship between faith, life, and the human spirit. Symbolic imagery—such as birds representing freedom, flames symbolizing wisdom, and lambs standing for hope—creates a visual language of transcendence. Drawing from thangka art and warm symbolic colors, the works evoke freedom and awakening. The series has received the Silver Award at the GAF Illustration Art Fair and was shortlisted in the 2024 Hiii Illustration International Awards.
