The Legend of Hei II

Building upon the human-demon coexistence universe, this work blends Eastern fantasy with urban life elements. When the Spirit Guild is suddenly attacked, threatening the fragile peace between species, the young demon Hei joins his master Wuxian and senior sister Luye to unravel a conspiracy that shakes both worlds. In this journey, Hei evolves from a protected ward to a game-changer, crafting an Eastern parable of "guardianship and responsibility" amidst moral gray zones. Crafted with 200,000 hand-drawn frames that redefine 2D aesthetic, its fluid combat choreography and deadpan humor ignite the silver screen, propelling the film to ¥500 million at the box office.
